It is vital for all Power Mac G5 to run thermal calibration after fitting a new logic board or processors, without it, Temperature Control will not be able to detect the system temperture correctly. As a result, it could cause the cooling fans to run at high speed, eventually damgaging the logic board or processors.

For the thermal calibration service, there is a charge for £75 (ex. VAT).

We will also make sure there is no other problem before we return your item. If any other problem is detected, there maybe additional charges. We will contact you before proceeding.

What to do next?
